Lois Zsarnay, MS,LMFT, RD

Graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Buffalo State University, Lois has been a Registered Dietitian since 1982. She completed her internship in the United States Air Force in Washington, DC, and achieved her Masters degree in Psychology from California Lutheran University in May 1998 and her MFT degree in December 2002.

Lois provides medical nutrition therapy to individuals and groups covering an array of nutrition and health topics. Additionally, she has been an instructor at both Oxnard and Ventura Community Colleges, and University of California at Santa Barbara Extension teaching Nutrition, Nutrition in Fitness, and Nutrition in Addictions & Eating Disorders.

Lois is an active participant in a variety of local organizations which have included: Board of Directors President of the Central Ventura County Unit of the American Cancer Society, a member of the Medical Advisory Board of the Pierpont Racquet Club, and a member of the Ventura County Unit of the American Heart Association's Women & Heart Disease committee. She has been a workshop presenter for Oxnard Women's Day; California Lutheran University Creative Options; Mom & Kids Recovery Center; Reaching out to Mom & Kids; American Association of University Women; Southern California Women for Understanding; Brighter Horizons; Career Days; and The Oaks at Ojai.
